Peter - Landscapes

Peter has been a landscape artist all his life. All of these works are made in the plein air at the site.  He enjoys combining a highly developed graphic sense within the recognition of what is exactly in front of him. His years as a professional graphic designer and lecturer in this field make this a natural part of his expression.

Some of the pastel drawings, rather than paintings, are prepared with a white, broad matte and hinged to an underlying board for strength in postage and perhaps to be useful when the artwork is to be framed.                Photo; Detail of Tomato Lake painting. Sold.
