The Edge

“The Edge” 90 x 90 cms. Oil and natural pigments. Floating frame in black wood with gold front edge.

This large painting was inspired during a flight over the southern Western Australian coast. It is at a point where mechanised, orderly farming ceases and the ancient bush landscape then has its own space. Farmland in oil paints and the bush in earth found pigments with the pink salt lake in acrylic. Human and animal forms are suggested.
