Sebatu Temple Bali

Watercolour painting in situ, 2018, 32 x 40, white frame, dark matte and glass. Sebatu is one of my precious temples in Bali. I vist it every trip. This painting shows the wide steps for hundreds of worshippers to gather and into the foreground. Beside it ( not visible in this painting) is a gorgeous pool with an island shrine and background of a very steep tropical plant cliff. Ancient paintings hang at the rear wall of this temple with eloquent stone sculptures everywhere guarding.
