Moore River Sand dunes

Pastel drawing. 2009. 47 x 67 cms. Unframed pastel drawing. Original work.  The Moore River emerges into the Indian Ocean at Guilderton, north of Perth, Western Australia. Near the river’s bar and opposite the small township are these splendid sand dunes. This was drawn from the northern side of the river looking across to their soft, luminous smoothness.
