Botanical gardens are always on my travel agenda. This splendid tree grows in Victoria Park in Daylesford, Victoria. I wanted to capture its strength in a calligraphic way, no drawing, just looking closely and painting truthfully. 24 x 32 cms is the size of the painting. Add black matte and gold frame.
