Ian Parry, “Anguish”, etching 1967
These years are the “Hippy Years” exemplified by John Feeney’s somewhat tortured, dreamlike imagery of “Anguish”. John was already an accomplished printmaker, drawer and painter. He and Pete had been at Art School together in Perth at the end of the 1950’s. John continued to discover what lay beneath the surface of things and to find the humanity level rather than the individual’s appearance. Unframed print. Unsigned.
