“Girl Model in Ubud, Bali”, pastel

For many years we introduced Australian artists to the artist’s world of Ubud, Bali through our art weeks at Pondok Saraswati near Ubud. The renowned Indonesian artist,  Pranoto, held life drawing groups each week in his studio with models. What great times we had with artists from all around the world and a good number of local men and women too. This pastel was drawn during an extended  series of sittings, probably one and a half hours.
