“Cornflowers and Honeysuckle” on a recycled jarrah panel
There’s a lovely Victorian era jarrah panel from the Victorian era on our wall and I’d always wanted to do the same thing. We’d recycled a sound system to produce separate jarrah panels which then took sanding and sealing before painting flowers from our Gooseberry Hill garden. Naturally the jarrah panel’s weight is more than paper so the shipment cost is higher. No need for a frame, ready for hanging. Oil on wood, 2020.
